It's not really a deal in my opinion they have other offers that are much better in the app
In my ranking of deals, it goes like this.
Anything discounted below $1 (McDonald's seems to do some cheap giveaways)
Free item with any purchase deals
50% off deals
Buy one, get one (BOGO) free deals
Minimum purchase to get a free item deal.
Everything else.
Ex:
The new "free item with any purchase" deals are great because you control how much you spend (I can buy another item or sometimes many other items under the price of the free item) and get the free item.
BOGO free deals are the best deals in the current climate that the business sets the price for just because you are paying half price on each of the same item and getting two. This deal is also good for couples.
If one is getting half off (50% off), it just depends on if they have a limit.
It is all about how much price control you give the customer vs. what price, as a business, you are making the customer buy your items at. I can do without fries and drink. One can get an under $1 drink at McDonald's if one has the offer (55% off any size drink) in one's app or in my case, I just drink water.
OK deal, but nothing amazing. Whopper's are $7.99 (at least in Cali), so this drops them to $4/piece.
Whopper Wednesday prices are $3.99 (not sure if it's limited to 1?), so decent deal if you want multiple but otherwise not anything too crazy special
