I remember playing the orginal as a kid. Loved it- my brothers and I would set up our battlefield in the hallway.

While this should still be fun, seems like a much more simplified (with less pieces) version of the game.

I have Weapons & Warriors [boardgamegeek.com] from 1993, which I now see was probably inspired by this game.
