I'm able to also reproduce this ($487.84) from RDU leaving Nov 1st. Icelandair flies direct to Raleigh so that may be why.

Not relating to this deal but to this airport: Is it hard to navigate at Copenhagen airport as they don't speak English, right? If I have a connecting flight to Germany from there for an hour, is it manageable? Thanks so much for any input.

If you book directly through the Iceland Air website, you can select to stop for up to 7 days on the way there or back (or both) at no additional cost. I've done this in the past, including a bit over a year ago on this exact same route.

Gives you a bit of a second vacation at no cost.
