Skechers pricing going up but quality is going down. Anybody noticed their new shoes almost half less durable than the ones they produced few years ago?

I've noticed this as well. The soles begin separating from the shoe within months of wear. My past two pairs only lasted about 4-5 months before they are falling apart.

Yup, my gym Skechers(used 2 hours tops for 3-4 days a week), the back side of it fold and BROKE after few uses?!? Like how? That plastic piece is now folded and annoying rear side of my feet.

Honestly, I haven't noticed this, but it may be because I don't wear the same Skechers pair every day. I have several pairs that I rotate with the inexpensive Bruno Marc pairs I have. So far with this rotation, the shoes have held up pretty well.

I've never thought of them as great quality but they are the only shoe brand that I can just buy based on how I like the looks. Everything else I have to try on many pairs to find one that feels good and it is always the ones I don't like the way they look. I usually wear the same pair everyday and I get about a year out of them.

The only sketchers I buy are the $30 at Costco. These are not $80 and never will be. I personally find the slip on ones quite uncomfortable. The non slip on ones will become slip ons after a few months anyway.
