In general, I also agree with you. I travel often and have never had any airline check my carry on or personal item for size compliance. But Zip Air may do that. This summer I'll be flying with them for the very first time. They are a low budget airline (in terms of airfare) and charge extra for everything to make up for the low airfare. In addition to paying for meals and beverages, and checked baggage, you'll also have to pay extra if your carry on and personal item exceed their size and WEIGHT regulation. They sent me an email specifying the carry on and personal item sizes. Both items cannot exceed 7 Kg, about 15 lbs. I guess I'll find out soon how strict Zip Air is with their carry on policy. Fellow SD'ers can chime in if they've flown Zip Air before. Thx.
I was thinking that. Snobs everywhere you go.. 🤔
FWIW, I was just on a 4 hour flight sitting next a person in the center seat whose personal item would not go under the seat so she kept it between her legs. This had her legs spread way into my legroom and the leg space of the person on her other side. It made everyone very uncomfortable. Please don't be that person.

I saw it and was wondering a lot, quality seemed phenomenal.
