25 feet outdoor black cable - regular price of $7.99 with a better rating on Amazon
The color is likely to help with visibility to prevent tripping over, though it is ugly if you are trying to hide it on a patio

Disgusting color. I mean , seriously ? Who wants the cable to be the standout item in their outdoor space ?

HOW can you list any electrical cord and not specify the wire gauge in the title?
It's the most important aspect of any cord.

It's 16ga. Perfect for a night light. Except you won't need one with that day glo color.

I always worry that these aren't actually copper. There's only two ways to tell: stick a neodymium magnet to it to check for iron wire and the other is to cut it open and check the color of the cut ends.

^^ Much better deal. And this 16/3 (25ft), for $8.99 with a lighted end when power is active for only $8.99 is not a bad option either(I've really grown to like the models with the end lit up) https://a.co/d/gBZfYsx

Honestly, I would save up and wait for a deal on a trustworthy brand.

The $8.99 has 10A/1250 watt ratings though. Just adding information to your comment.

16 gauge. Wire this thin should be illegal... or have a fuse built into the plug like they do in Europe.
Circuit breakers provide little safety when your cords are this thin.

Because nobody else has said it explicitly, you can plug things into a 16 amp extension cord that will exceed its rating. It could set on fire and your 15/20 amp circuit breaker in your house won't stop it. Consider who else might plug something into this extension cord when you aren't around. Simply not worth saving a few bucks to have one of these in your house.

That's a pretty good point, although I suppose labeling could help, and it's less of a problem if you don't own a lot of high power stuff.
This whole thing would be almost a non issue if they would put fuses in them, I don't know who thought it was a good idea to allow making cords without fuses or breakers.
