25 feet outdoor black cable - regular price of $7.99 with a better rating on Amazon
The color is likely to help with visibility to prevent tripping over, though it is ugly if you are trying to hide it on a patio

I always worry that these aren't actually copper. There's only two ways to tell: stick a neodymium magnet to it to check for iron wire and the other is to cut it open and check the color of the cut ends.
Iron wire? Seriously?

It's very rare and it's usually on small things like a radio or something low power because it won't draw enough power to heat up enough to melt anything but the cable might be warm. I should still have some at work that a customer tried to pass as copper. I'll take a photo or something tomorrow. Here's one video from Bigclivedotcom. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwwiCftM4Qg

16GA Copper (supposedly) vs AWG - so it's at least as capable as 14GA AWG
just sayin

The $8.99 has 10A/1250 watt ratings though. Just adding information to your comment.

16 gauge. Wire this thin should be illegal... or have a fuse built into the plug like they do in Europe.
Circuit breakers provide little safety when your cords are this thin.

There is no aluminum wire gauge. A gauge is a gauge.

The argument was the 16 AWG sucked. And it sucks assuming copper. No case scenario makes it "like 14 AWG".
