As a former NYer, no. It's just a bunch of tourist traps that you will not have time to go see in just 2 days. The hop on hop off bus is cool maybe like the first ride. But depending on it to go around the city is just unrealistic.

As a current, I agree with this 💯 for NYC.. especially in the summer when the lines are longer you'll get through 1 or 2 things maybe… maybe it's worth it elsewhere ,but I don't have experience with the other cities so maybe others can chime in

We just used these in NYC as a family of 4 last month. We stayed near Manhattan, and ideally you want to be close to one of their bus pickup spots. Our kids were at the age, and it was their first time in NYC, where they wanted to see enough of the 'tourist trap' things anyway, so we feel we got more than the value (thought not crazy over). We did ~3 places 1 day, 2 the second, and used the bus. ArTechHouse was awesome and unexpected. If you struggle with (in)decision overload, this could help constrain things for you. We did not do Statue of Liberty as we knew it would take >1/2 the day.

Yeah...MOMA is such a tourist trap. As is the Museum of Natural History.

And, though most NYers haven't been, the 9/11 museum is incredible.

And going up to the top of one the skyscrapers is a lot of fun...even for natives. Unless you're Ken Griffin!

FWIW, I spent my first 25 years in the heart of the Village.

What a pathetic tiny greedy 6% discount for an already wasteful gambit that counts on people not possibly using these options in two days of limited opening times (closing long before sundown). Doesn't belong at SD.

They usually sell another option that's 2-3 use or more and not per day; easier to use because you're not rushed; but only a deal if you do the expensive things (visiting sky scraper tops) I opted for that with a discount code - we made off with maybe 20-30 bucks for 2 of us so it was a small discount doing 2 things on it. I don't think all inclusive is worth it because you'd feel rushed to try to make to make up the value instead of enjoying what you're doing - there's lots of stuff to do not included in the pass. You'd have to plan around only the Go items and doing lots of them to get your value back - In NYC many of the pass items are only 20-30ish bucks each. Some of the things take longer than you plan for them too. The subway in Manhattan can get you around anywhere in 20-30 minutes or less for 2.90 per person.
NYC is generally expensive to stay in for a few days with food and lodging in Manhattan.
