Why y'all buying this? All you end up getting your tires rotated at Costco while eating hot dogz
Replacing brake pads, rotors, wheel bearings, timing belt, motor oil leaking, etc. Unmounting the wheels is often a necessity for many engine, transmission and suspension system repairs.
Damn, 600 ft lbs of torque. Not too shabby for under $100.
600 ft lbs of torque, but not if you don't keep the $200 high performance batteries, unless you have some already. The tool will not reach max performance with the older batteries. The HP batteries are giving you an approximate 30 percent boost in power. Plus your older generation batteries aren't going to last as long.
This is an okay deal with if you're spending the $200 for the impact and keeping the three batteries and charger. Otherwise, there are probably better options out there for the $$$.
Ah man, I could use this and the HP batteries. But I just bought the non-HP battery kit a week ago and threw out the box. Googling says that Home Depot will accept some returns without the box, but has anyone actually done that before?
I have this and have been using it weekly for at home mechanic work for about 2 years with zero issues. I do significantly more work at home with it than the average person. I'm extremely happy with it.
Just used it to do strange brakes and new hubs on my fox mustang and it zipped the 36mm hub nut on and off with ease.
Picked up this tool last week, and it was stellar for the truck work i was doing. With its help, managed to change two front shocks/struts, CV axle, wheel bearings and brake calipers. Left on automatic, it had no problem hammering off the axle nut or stuck brake calipers.
No doubt there are more powerful units, but being in the ryobi system already, this was a no brainer.
Picked up the wrench in person and did battery at a different store but didn't see a cancel option for the battery ? Just let it expire after 7 days to get the refund ?
