I've bought two of these "kits", one from Amazon and one from Harbor Freight. I'd happily pay three times this price per clip: 10/$1, to get little baggies of ones that actually fit the empty holes in my car.
Yep. Unless you have several cars of different makes and models (American, Asian, EU) you're mostly going to be using a few of the sizes and waste the rest. And sometimes it's not even a perfect fit

The trick is to buy this. Then when you run our of certain sizes, thats what you should order more of
I'm glad this popped up. I have had the similar kit saved for years and it is also at the lowest price ever: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...3X5CD?th=1
620 pieces + tools + storage organizer.
3 bucks discount??? OMG, Front Page! Never seen before savings! Everyone thumbs up for rivets!
price tracker shows it at $ 7.28 2 weeks ago all the way back to Feb. so more like a 75C savings.
I try to avoid sellers that play the whole raise the price then put it on sale bs.
Here's a tip, look up part numbers for clips for your vehicle then put it in Amazon, you will have a way better experience than having 10000 left over clips that don't fit your car and take up space in your garage
You can look up the OEM part number and use that as a cross reference to buy them. Still won't be the same quality but they will be the right size at least.
Where can i find the OEM part #?

Google whatever make of vehicle + OEM parts. Should find you a dealer site where you can input year/make/model and then you can see the same diagrams they have at the parts counter.
I bought a similar kit a few days ago. But mine was about $11 and it cam with some tools and some kind of fibre washers. and a couple things. I think I got a good deal.

Sure, you may not need all the clips for the one car that you are messing with right now. Likely that you will need some of them at some point
Less than a month ago, I had a coworker who noticed that the bumper cover was pulled out and the pins were missing from the driver's side wheel well. Sure, it wasn't a clip I used, but I grabbed my assortment the next day and had exactly what was needed. Great to be able to help someone and at the end of the day didn't cost me anything really

I got a kit for Honda. I have a 2004 accord. 2012 crv and a 2024 pilot. Works out well
Warning though these are probably low quality clips that will break easily and won't last as long.
The ones I got are noticable feel cheaper than the one popped out of my cars

Amen. 90% of these won't be used.
