I would NOT do S&S if you have any food items you subscribe to. There is a good chance this will leak / be damaged in transit as Amazon does not package S&S well for shipping and reviews on this item speak of leaks as it is.

This is an okay price, but you can get a gallon for around $45-47

Does this lose potency over time? I could see 32oz lasting me a few years.

Depending on how much used, these do have expiration dates. At least after certain time the effectiveness goes down.
The expiration date has nothing to do with how much is used.

I use this every year to get rid of all the lightning bug larvae in my neighborhood. I got tired of hearing children outside yelling in the evenings when I was trying to listen to my programs.
Seriously... You cannot find other alternatives...Not a pita person but this is just sad to hear.

Bifenthrin is VERY poisonous to dogs. Permethrin is safe for most dogs.

Love this stuff. I went from Talstar to this less expensive version and it's basically the same thing. I'd recommend rotating pesticides though since bugs can build up resistance to maintain its effectiveness.

There are repellent and non-repellent insecticides. This is a repellent.

So it isn't effective for totally eliminating ants as they won't bring it back to their colony. It works as a perimeter barrier.
Costco has ortho home defense which I tried for a long time and it is the same ingredient as this post and I've found it isn't effective at eliminating odorous house ants.

I've used Taurus SC Fipronil Insecticide and the 20 ounce bottle is half gone and I bought it a year ago and it's extremely effective at eliminating ants.

Alpine wsg granules is also very good indoors for ants and has a higher safety profile than other professional strength insecticides
To get rid of ants

Borax and sugar.
Mix with water, make it into a paste.
They bring it back to their hive and you will never see them again.

I used this stuff for 3 years for a few acres, works great, but gets expensive. I did switch from this to a gallon of Bifenthrin on Amazon (Quali-pro). First year I've used it, yet it seems to be the same crap at a fraction of the price.

I have a gallon from 2 years ago that lost a cap last year and still seems to kill everything but I doubled the amount that I dilute into water from 1oz per gallon to 2oz.

Or buy Terro liquid ant baits.

We have those but when I do yard work or blow the leaves or deck they fly away. Or even with wind. What are you putting underneath to make them stay in place? Especially like with a deck I don't want too harsh of a tape that when I peel it off when the bait is out and need to replace that it doesn't really leave residue behind on the deck surface
