I would NOT do S&S if you have any food items you subscribe to. There is a good chance this will leak / be damaged in transit as Amazon does not package S&S well for shipping and reviews on this item speak of leaks as it is.

This is an okay price, but you can get a gallon for around $45-47

Great price. For a few pennies more, this one has measuring system built in. Unusual in a gallon jug. I think it's shelf life is 3 years. It's deadly for bees, so be careful using it.

Does this lose potency over time? I could see 32oz lasting me a few years.
I bought a half gallon of the Bifen version of this, I only spray 4-5 times a year and noticed after a few years it was totally ineffective from that original jug. So now I buy a smaller bottle more often. Caveats I store it in a shed that gets hot and cold which is not ideal, and spray the minimum dose avoiding flowering plants and bushes just targeting mosquitos.

We have those but when I do yard work or blow the leaves or deck they fly away. Or even with wind. What are you putting underneath to make them stay in place? Especially like with a deck I don't want too harsh of a tape that when I peel it off when the bait is out and need to replace that it doesn't really leave residue behind on the deck surface
They make outdoor ones with stakes to keep them in the ground. Not sure about use on a deck - i guess they could be staked into a pot of soil.

This stuff works great but it can leave a white residue.

If you have a Menards it's $17.49 everyday. Even cheaper if you consider the rebate.

Thanks for this tip. We're in the Midwest and have Menards bucks to spend!

I did a quick search but can't seem to find the thread you started where you shared that deal with us. Got a link?

I think bifenethrin (the active ingredient in this) is actually what they put in the dog treatments and they have the ability to metabolize it. Cats can't so it's dangerous for cats while it's wet but once it's dry it doesn't transfer anymore and should be safe.
I used the ortho bifrethin product hours before cat was allowed outside and next day she spit up blood. They said she could not make platelets anymore and had internal bleeding. She didn't make it. It was never proven to be solely the bifrethin but be very careful.

Yeah, that's what I do with all my Home Depot orders now. Great deal to not pay the tax and still get your 10% off. This is my 5th order now but try to keep orders above 20-30 dollars so they won't cancel the program due to high shipping costs. Others were some electric panels and breakers.

Borax and sugar.
Mix with water, make it into a paste.
They bring it back to their hive and you will never see them again.
I use borax and left over soda from a 2 liter bottle. Seems like there is always a few drops left in the bottom. They seem to prefer Dr. Pepper and reuse the cap for the mixing container.

Lots of these types of things are restricted delivery. I've been using a Bifen XTS [domyown.com] concentrate that I bought probably 7 or 8 years ago - before the DIY Pest Control website put restrictions on shipping to CT (you need to have a license here to buy it). I'm running low which piqued my interest in this.

Is this better than Bifen XTS?
XTS is an oil based product and about 3x the concentration in the bottle than this product (~7.x%). That said XTS is around $56/qt and this product ~ $19. SO if you don't mind the dilution it winds up around the same price per effective oz of active ingredient.

This product seems to be advertised more as a broad insecticide like you're spraying your entire lawn. I use XTS on perimeter and home foundation. spraying an entire lawn would take forever.
