new finding for ATT,

"AT&T fiber" on chase offers got triggered when doing the Full payment of the phone. Additional $50 saved

Could have saved more if I could know before and split it across multiple cards.
How did your payment post under your chase account? Does it just say "At&t"? if that's the case then it is weird because as far as I am aware at&t fiber payments post differently. Also even if you did you can only pay off the device using a single card/payment

I actually got the $75 off $100 offer in the same card I got and redeemed last month but I am debating ordering another device, probably not much worth it. At&t still hasn't even removed the charges for the three days I had service active ($77) as well as the $35 activation fee

I currently have T-mobile and want to swap my sim to the Ultra. My Samsung Note9 is currently unlocked. Will either the AT&T or Verizon work with my sim?

This ontrac company is as incompetent as it gets now they're saying they can't locate my package and I need to contact the facility I bought the phone from. Can I place another order or I need someone with a different SSN?

After porting out, vzn automatically prorated my bill with a credit for the remaining days applied to my next bill. I called to refund the activation fee but looks like that requires some approval that I'll need to follow up on tomorrow. Technically the phone was activated on 6/3 and I cancelled on 6/6 so that's within 3 days. We'll see what the final outcome will be.
Quick update, after my first call on 6/7, they did not approve the activation fee waiver and actually removed the prorated credit on the account, leaving me with a full first month bill. Another call into CS today got my full bill credited, I now have a small credit balance of $2.36. The rep today sounded more sympathetic to my reason for termination and put the request in to get the bill credited. Seems like these credits need some escalated approval so you can never get it fully resolved on the call itself. I checked my balance online 5 hours later and the credits showed up.

No, you will need to unlock them first. For Verizon you will have to wait for 60 days, for ATT you can unlock using SIM swap after paying off the device.

From the new ATT account. Mention you need to put international sim during travel etc.
I got denied unlock code by website, and I just chatted with CS but they still denied me even though i told them i needed for international travel. Said I needed my account to be active for 60 days before they can unlock. Where do I go from here? Do I need to pay for 2 months of service in order to be eligible for the unlock? or can I just cancel now and wait 2 months?

I did. It showed my other phone on the ATT account portal before I tried to unlock it. Not sure if I did something wrong here, but I guess now I'm stuck a the 60 days waiting time.

I normally use AT&T and have had them ever since I got a phone. So I was able to get the phone, pay it off, and then unlock it without having to wait 60 days. I was having trouble unlocking it through the site, and I've done it plenty of times in the past. I got on with chat and they said I had to wait 60 days. They said it was a newer policy or something. But reading the policy, it seemed like I should have been able to unlock it. I got on chat with someone else the next day, and they unlocked it without issues.
So if some people are able to do something, but then some others aren't, I'd probably just try reaching out to support again and hopefully you get a different agent.
I've also successfully reflashed the firmware so that it removes the AT&T bloat.

Did you try the SIM swap to get it unlocked?

I see you tried it before. The ATT policy is 60 days so you should be able to get the code after 60 days. You can file a FCC complaint if they don't give you the code. But before that it does it hurt to try another CS rep. It varies wildly between reps with unlock code.

Got my s24 ultra delivered today. Activated on the device and made a full payment online.
After waiting for an hour, tried sim swap method and could not unlock. Maybe payment information has not been updated on unlock portal yet. But the problem is today is the 3rd day. I will try tomorrow again but will I be able to get the full refund? On my at&t app, I cannot see activation fees yet, so cannot click on don't recognize this charge.
