I haven't purchased a computer in a couple years, so this drive is almost certainly faster than anything that I'm using. It is perfectly capable of smoothly loading windows 11.

It's not a spindle drive, you'll be fine.

Booting isn't the speed difference between drives, its how fast they gas out doing other things is the price difference.

If you were fine with the storage speed of a mechanical drive this would not only be more reliable in the long run but will still be faster than your old drive. Sure its not the fastest, but if you're just using it for occasional storage and access its more than fine, especially for the price.
