reviews look good on Amazon. Although I'm already in Ego ecosystem, isn't a $249 shop vac still pricey?

I feel like you would be able to get a corded shop vac and one of those battery "generators" for this price.

Yeah, I'm sure somebody has a great use for it, but I think a corded $50 shop vac and an extension cord is a better play for 99% of us.

i understand why, and own many, battery tools are preferred over corded alternatives... but paying a premium for a shopvac?

Cords suck. But there is a place for battery and wired.

I love my Ego lawn tools, but spending $250 on a product like this seems borderline wasteful. You can get a decent electric one for $50, and this isn't the type of product you typically 1) move constantly or 2) use where an outlet isn't close by. If your electricity is out and a ShopVac is desperately needed, you likely have bigger problems to deal with and/or need a whole lot of batteries.

Ego sells an LED spotlight for $200 and a box fan for $300, this isn't even close to their most egregious price gouging lol

Completely agree. This price is insane unless it is due to tariffs

Love mine. Just got it. Can clean the cars without the cords. Also hauled the basement without extra gear.

I would avoid this it all cost about three of them for our pressure washer business all three have failed within a year they're not designed to hold up also they don't even have as good suction is a cheaper Milwaukee version I have that's much smaller some of the reviews on YouTube are complete Shills and fake ego customer service is going way downhill if you can't take it back to the store then their warranties almost completely useless they look for every way they can to get out of doing a return or replacing an item

No thanks without battery. Plus $249 seem pricey for a vacuum. I can use my plug $50 vacuum no issue.

i guess... but both of those make far more sense to be cordless and compare them to M18 pricing and they're on par.

that fan, while i have no use for it, looks like an absolute beast... 18in 5,000cfm misting fan is pretty sweet. in comparison, the M18 is only 3,800cfm and no misting, at 20$ more i'd buy the Ego in a heartbeat.

I thought this was for the pressure washer 🤣. Was going to say great buy. For a vacuum..... No battery . Hard No for me. Maybe $139 max. I guess for a specific use case maybe good for some..

Ego has grown quite the ego. Please don't buy this at this price. Crazy town.
