1. V8 has smaller trash bin. <<< V10 <<< V11
2. V10 and V11 has easier official docking station. both out of stock. Often found on FB market place. V10 you need to pull the vac apart to dock it, v11, you can just dock it. V10 holds more accesories.
3. V11 is bigger and a bit heavier.
4. I bought V10 on refrub on same from ebay. works fine for almost 2 years now. V11 I bought it for a friend's house. ( he requested I found a deal for him ). I prefer v10 because I have a lot of attachments.
V11 at this price is good.
I managed to replace it with a metal one, did the repair myself. It wasn't a trivial repair either, you have to basically take the entire thing apart to access it.

been looking but can't find - where is the 2-year warranty mentioned?

Looks like only difference is accessories. Plus comes with 8 and complete comes with 6. Complete shows a $50 lower retail price too.
I ordered one over the weekend and it says eligible for free return until July 2. However, I'm unclear if it has to have something wrong with it to return it. I messaged Dyson on eBay 24 hours ago and still no response. Ordered the animal 10+ for $42 cheaper and decided I want this one instead so ordered this yesterday. Hoping I have no issues returning the animal V10+.
Got a shark with auto empty tank and while that addresses the dust issue, the Shark's suction is not super great— so we use the shark for general purpose cleanup (80% of the times) and a corded vacuum for those heavy duty whole house days in conjunction with roombas for the smaller bedrooms

These devices are great for cleaning up a quick mess, but not for a whole house real clean. I watched some videos from a vacuum cleaner repair guy, who was very non-partial to brands, and he demonstrated putting some dirt on the carpet, and then cleaning it up with one of these. Then he used a plug-in vacuum, and picked up a LOT of stuff that was left behind.
These are cool for quick clean ups, but not a replacement for a good vacuum.

Plug in vacuums are so 2008. Yea plug in vacuums draw more power and they are also very loud. My old V8 will pick up any dirt on my rug as long as I go over it a few times. No biggie. I don't have to worry about plugging in a cable and I dread rolling up that cable back up. $250 is a no brainer.
I would order it but my V8 still sucks (literally).

Battery tech has come a long way, but corded vacuums are eternal. And you won't have to replace the battery.

May have upgraded to this for an extra $42 had I known. Too late to cancel, just shipped.
Can't return the one once it arrives?
