1. V8 has smaller trash bin. <<< V10 <<< V11
2. V10 and V11 has easier official docking station. both out of stock. Often found on FB market place. V10 you need to pull the vac apart to dock it, v11, you can just dock it. V10 holds more accesories.
3. V11 is bigger and a bit heavier.
4. I bought V10 on refrub on same from ebay. works fine for almost 2 years now. V11 I bought it for a friend's house. ( he requested I found a deal for him ). I prefer v10 because I have a lot of attachments.
V11 at this price is good.
I managed to replace it with a metal one, did the repair myself. It wasn't a trivial repair either, you have to basically take the entire thing apart to access it.

Mine came also in a brown box but the unit had a chip (damage) by the handle close to where u plug in the adapter. I think when they said it looked new, it looks clean and no damage.
EDIT, nevermind got it to work
I would order it but my V8 still sucks (literally).
In best case scenario you have to replace the cordless battery eventually, corded you never have to replace the battery. All other parts are equal, both have filters that need cleaned or replaced, both have moving parts that need cleaned or replaced.
So is moving the cord once a week worth $100s in batteries over the lifetime of the vacuum? That is an individual decision to make.
I personally avoid batteries like the plague. So many farking things have batteries, and that don't work if the battery dies. JBL boombox, doesn' work if the battery dies. Muscle gun, doesn't work if battery dies. Keychron keyboard, doesn't work if battery dies. Cordless vacuum, no longer works if the battery dies. I now have had enough battery dies and the electronic no longer works, I specifically make sure if there is a corded version that I get that, because I am tired to replacing items and/or batteries designed to not be replaced if the battery dies. I have a list of all my rechargeable and they got cycled every 3 months regardless of use.

Got a shark with auto empty tank and while that addresses the dust issue, the Shark's suction is not super great— so we use the shark for general purpose cleanup (80% of the times) and a corded vacuum for those heavy duty whole house days in conjunction with roombas for the smaller bedrooms
Usually I just empty the vacuum outside on my porch/deck into a produce bag. That way even if there's a small dust cloud, it doesn't matter.
