"I bought both the old and new models—here's a quick comparison.
The older model is significantly larger and has a bigger fan blade, which results in much stronger airflow. From about a foot away, the new model only cools my nose area, while the old one can cool my entire face.
The new one is more compact and lightweight (136g vs. 184g), so if portability is your top priority, it's a better fit.
I fully charged both and ran them nonstop. The new one lasted about 2.5 hours on level 3 and then around 6.5 hours on level 1. The old one ran over 10.5 hours on level 1 before the battery started flashing—and its level 1 airflow is comparable to at least level 2 on the new one, with a wider coverage area.
Both models produce a similar noise level, which I don't find bothersome at all.
I personally prefer the older, larger model—it's heavier but performs much better overal"

Can you get the old version deal back with your connections? I've read the thread and everyone who compared prefers the old version for being more powerful and lasting longer with the bigger battery.

nice, cancelled this new one.. I got this older one last week and like it a lot. Fun thinking of out of the box, like using to help defrost my windshield, or turbo the charcoal BBQ coals.

I have smaller lighter fans for wearing or quiet use.

Hmm weird, It came up to $13.50 for this one, yet $10 for the other, so I assumed I was getting the "older model", as this one rings up to $10.00 -- so do you think I actually will receive the older model? -- from the look of the image of the pink one, the top area has a horizonal thing vs a vertical thing. I guess that'll be the differentiator once I receive it. The listing image shown in my order (that rang up at $13.50) is horizontal.

I believe that's the one I got since I clicked on it from another post and used another code that isn't mentioned in this post. However, the price is different as well. I don't care about the price difference, more so just care that I'm getting two of the "older" model as those apparently are better.

i got the old one. same 4000mah battery like this new one. not sure what they are talking about. the old one could last longer due to its smaller fansize. but the battery capacity is the same 4000mah. i can see alot of improvements on their new version. including the replacement of raised power ring to replace the 2 dumb legs. bigger fan is a huge plus. same 4000mah battery label.

psa; if you think you need to carry around a personal fan, you probably need to wear lighter weight wicking fabrics. nyc subway platforms can get painfully hot over the summer, and my neck fan was useless down there, while making better clothing choices and fewer layers helped far more.

Got the fan and it's defective on arrival. After power on, it goes from level "1" to "F" (I guess it means fail or failure), and then shuts down no blade spinning. Sending it back.
