Hmm. Everything except midnight out of stock. I wonder if they'll restock the other colors prior to 6/8? I'd personally rather buy from Costco than pricematch at Best Buy
Doubtful the price ending in .97 means it is clearance and also the sale date was removed and just says while supplies last now.

Killer deal. I've been watching these for the past month. I just pulled the trigger on the 15 inch M3. FYI, 3 year applecare for $179 is available for the M3 at checkout. I just bought it. My gut tells me they may sell out soon.
You gotta be nuts to pay ~$200 for a three-year warranty on a $1,000 laptop that already comes with a two-year warranty. Unless you're some kind of a clumsy putz that keeps dropping laptops, this is a truly horrible proposition.

i need 3 monitors and this cannot do it with the M3. I know the M4 can. My question is, can i get this PLUS add on some dongle or something to be able to do 3 monitors??? TIA
DisplayLink [wikipedia.org] allows you to overcome the 2 monitor/display limitation on M1, M2, & M3 Macs.

You can either get a single dongle/adapter: https://a.co/d/9n2JkxD

Or a docking station which would also supply power to your Macbook: https://a.co/d/8ZLbOWI

There are a lot of options on Amazon.

I have a m1 air 8GB ram and it is working perfectly fine. Wondering if it is worth getting this. I am doing a masters in CS right now and the M1 Air is serving all my needs however, this seems like a good deal. If I pricematch with BB, will they also allow me to tradein and get additional 325 discount on this?

The trade in for my m1 at Bb is $300, not 325. I'm in the same boat as you. I was on the fence but decided not to buy it. The m1 air is serving me fine and the only thing that would probably improve is the screen size. I've already decided my next Mac is gonna be 15 inches. I'm gonna try and hold off for another year and hopefully my m1 lasts.

If the money's tight I would hold off because you just don't know what your needs are going to be like in a year or two after you graduate and begin working as a dev. M1/8gb is plenty for coding and web development and if let's say you were to get into AI you'll wish you either had a beastly PC or a Mac with a Max processor and 128gb of ram.

Upgrading from a base 13" MacBook Pro M1 8GB RAM / 256GB SSD

Performance Benchmark Analysis

To quantify the improvements, we rely on Geekbench 6 scores for single-core and multi-core performance, which are indicative of how well the processors handle everyday tasks. The following table summarizes the approximate Geekbench 6 scores for the M1, M3, and M4 chips, based on data from various tech reviews and comparisons:
Conclusion

Upgrading from a MacBook Pro 13" M1 with 8GB RAM to a MacBook Air 15" with M3 or M4 and 16GB RAM will likely result in significant performance improvements for day-to-day tasks. The M3 offers about 34% faster single-core and 45% faster multi-core performance compared to M1, while the M4 provides 62% and 79% improvements, respectively, with both benefiting from the RAM upgrade for smoother multitasking. The M4 offers a slight edge over M3 (20-25% better performance), making it ideal for future-proofing, but both options will enhance your experience for opening applications, web surfing, and work-related multitasking as of May 29, 2025.

for those who served, for $150 more you can get the same specs but with an M4 13in instead of M3 at the EXCHANGE and you'll save even more because no taxes.

Equivalent M4 is $1375 from Costco. Seems like a good deal to me!
better deal for those who served is at the EXCHANGE, 1149, no taxes.
edit for those who like me prefers the portability and more practical 13 screen size.

Thanks, but unfortunately that's false. The $1150 price is for the 13" M4. Costco has the similar 13" M3 for $900, which is a better deal even with tax. HUA!

Looks like $1349 for the comparable M4 - 15", 24 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD:

good point, but i really don't care for anything screen estate more than 15. 13 is the sweet spot for portability and if I'm at my desk, i can hook up to my dual 31" monitors so i stand by my post.

Then go comment in the post about the 13" deal, we are discussing the 15" here
