I just ordered online pickup and it's showing up as 2 items on my order only when using iPhone and Lowes app. Should be able to return battery hack. I tried using Lowes website through a browser at first, it adds to cart differently shows the battery as free not making it returnable. So I tried with iPhone app and showed up like below in my cart and order-

I was waiting for this blower deal just to get the 5ah, the fact that the 2.5 is included is great! Strange, the shipping alone was $234 when I added it to my cart, so I had to ship to a local store to work around that issue.

I was debating getting the commercial backpack version because of this reason. With a 5 or 7.5, the standard blowers can be a little hard on the shoulder/wrist

yup, i bought from Amazon a year or so ago with the 5Ah battery for 230$... for 69$ extra, the 2.5A is a nice bonus.
would buy in a heartbeat if i didn't own already.

even the Lowes deal was 329$ for the kit and extra 2.5Ah, you needed to return the 2.5A to get down to 213$... personally, even at 86$, the 2.5Ah is worth it.

this is a better deal.

I have a Echo backpack gas blower I haven't used in a year. Been using two 2.5Ah handhelds on turbo with plenty of swaps if needed. I'll use the heavier batteries in my right hand. It's fun using the handheld on the riding mower to blow off driveways. I've cleaned a few gutters with them too, not something I'd do with a backpack on a roof. I think gas blowers are getting phased out mostly from noise complaints.

Yes, I was referring to the ego backpacks. There are some larger ones that can use 2 batteries and get up to 1000 cfm.

I prefer the ego backpack version because these types of blowers tend to put a strain on my arm/hand. I recommend trying it with the heavy battery.
