Stacks with the $50 off.

Probably the lowest price you will ever get a new PS5Pro for the foreseeable future given the US tariff situation. Great opportunity if you qualify for the AMEX offer as the savings would cover the cost of the disc drive add-on.

Playstation has abandoned the story-driven single-player experiences for live service. So, right now, there is barely any thing to play on PS5 that can't be played on PC. Astro is the only thing.

Besides my backlog is so long, esp with epic, prime gaming and humble bundles.

I so rarely play my Ps5 it borderline feels like a waste but the math does math on it being a good deal...

Signed up for 10%, got it in about 20 minutes, I had to use a rando e-mail address but the coupon still worked on my alread existing dell account.

Clicked the button and immediately got the $25 rewards

Had the Amex offer on my Blue Cash card, redeemed it and verified it showed as added to card on Amex's main dashboard.

$649.99 - 10%, -$25, brought total charged to Amex with TAX of $615, that turns into $515 after al said and done..

On the fence about what to do ultimately, can flip the PS5 Amateur to gamestop for $265 or I can retire the Ps4 Pro that lives in the kids playroom and upgrade them to a Ps5 as well. One thing I did like about the Ps4 and Ps5 arrangement was they did not FIGHT over login and digital purchases. Does anyone know how easy it is to create a similar situation for Ps5? I purchase everything under my main account and currently they can also play Ps Plus games on the Ps4 since it's the "primary ps4".

Yeah, I mentioned it in the other thread too. Mine came out to $512 after taxes, coupons, and everything. I told the other commenter I doubt we'll see this price again anytime soon, especially with all the tariff talk. Does GameStop really give $265 for the PS5? I have the first-gen disc version.

edit: ah nvm I see the trade in values here https://www.gamestop.com/trade/de...d=11108140

Yes.

I was pondering if I should buy it. Then, I realized it was such a silly thing to even think about buying it and decided against it.

Maybe I'm wrong and there are something else I'm missing on why buying a PS5 makes sense?

People complaining $100 off the PS5 Pro to $550 and under (w/ other coupons) not being a good deal meanwhile the 2TB XBX is $730 and the new Switch 2 $450.

Makes no sense.

You can pop drive off Slim and authenticate it on Pro. Slap the plate on the Slim, swap the horizontal stand legs, and you're all set to sell a PS5 digital edition on Marketplace.Sony's already said they're likely to raise prices in 2-3 months after inventory exhausts and they have to start paying tariffs. This may end up being the best deal ever offered for PS5 Pro.
Yup can confirm, I did this back when PS5P came out. Worked a charm.

Great deal! Huge YMMV but my wife also has an AMEX card with the $100 Statement credit so I added the PSVR2 to the transaction. With the 10% off coupon (Only works on PS5), the total came out to $1,000.43 and we each received a $100 statement credit since I split the payment across the cards (Only works if your accounts are not connected together). Will get $50 in Dell rewards plus the CC points. A pretty good deal if you were on the fence about PSVR2.
$1,000 after taxes - $200 Statement credit = $800 + $50 Dell Rewards and another ~$30 in CC points for a PS5 Pro & PSVR2 Horizon bundle. A bit slicker if you have a cashback site.

Just pop a gmail or hot mail or something and sign up for the mailer, I did it from scratch and had a code in 15 minutes.

Just a heads up - you can apply only one 10% discount coupon per order. If you have couple of 10% off coupons and have several items to order, consider splitting your order to use one coupon per order, if it makes financial sense considering other cashback/rewards.

Stacked the 10% new customer code, added the 3% bonus reward new thing, free shipping, after the Amex credit it'll be $531. Sweet!

Anyone else not get dell reward points after their order shipped?

Edit: Guess I didn't sign up when I created my account. Seems dumb you're not auto-enrolled.

ok, I think I will pull the trigger on this one.
I have not played games in a long while, but now I'm at my mid-life crisis and considering to get it.
Assuming I get this, what else should I prioritize to get?
I am guessing 1 more controller.
I've seen people talk about an external disc. Is it needed if I have no CD games? Shouldn't 2TB be enough?
Must have games to start with?
