I am crushed that I missed it.
I would really like to see a link for this as well. I've been monitoring 5080 laptops pretty heavily over the last few weeks and I don't feel like I would have missed this deal.

I originally was looking to buy a 5090 if I could get one for under $3k. There is a discount, but cheapest I could build with good components was $3,250. Based on benchmarks, I don't think the 5090 is worth the $1,000 premium.
Of course you can do whatever you want, but I don't think you will get the power you want from a 5090 in a laptop. 5080 is prob the better option
Who cares about the speakers, you never use them. Either using external speakers or a headset.

Also one of the ssd slots (the one with the ssd installed) is underneath the heatsink, which has a proprietary liquid metal paste.
