Does it have the obnoxious ducks, handwaves and parking on the curb?

The reason for the rear doors being like that is because they are interchangeable with the rear doors on the Wrangler, same as every possible part.
True, I mean for no reason on the Gladiator. Sharing parts with Wranglers sure saves Stelantis money though.

Gladiator owner here. The model is lifted with bigger tires. Geometry is the same.
The body lines are different though. See how in this picture the top-front corner of the rear fender flare is roughly aligned with the break between the cab and the bed:

On the actual truck, the break between the cab and the bed is about halfway down the top-front corner of the rear fender flare:

Basically, the wheel arches are expanded to accommodate the larger tires, in the process resolving some of the unattractive design choices in the actual truck.

If I could get a full scale one for 24 times the price ($2400), that would be a slick deal.

These are fun. Indoors or around the campsite.

I don't think they're worth $100. I would get this for $60:

It's not a rock crawler like the Jeep but you'll probably have more fun. It has a brushless motor and goes up to 30 mph.

Saves Gladiator owners money, and even Wrangler owners. Shared common parts not only lowers production costs for the vehicle, it also works in the aftermarket, especially here when you are talking about vehicles that are made to have the doors removed or replaced. If the aftermarket had to make different soft/half/tube rear doors for the Gladiator, both Wrangler and Gladiator versions would cost more.

These are lots of fun and good for young kids too. You can easily build an indoor course with blankets, books, blocks, legos, etc. We have one for indoors and another for outdoors. First upgrades should be weights, better servo (since stock one will die very soon), stickier tires, and high clearance 4 link kit.

Looks so much better than the real-life gladiator. They fixed the rear doors having a cut-off for no reason by bringing the wheel well forward.Real-life truck for reference:https://www.jeep.com/content/dam/...esktop.jpg
The real one has a cutoff for a reason... The regular 4-door Wrangler has a wheel there, so instead of making an entirely new door tooling set, they reuse the Wrangler's.
