The benefit of allulose over other sweeteners is that it has a freezing point similar to sugar when dissolved. So it makes very good sugar-free ice cream.

Thanks OP!

I've been using allulose with the Ninja Creami, and as the above poster mentioned, allulose seems to work really well in sugar free ice cream.

I bought this exact bag a few weeks ago.

Works incredibly well with almond milk, vanilla, and cinnamon to create a zero-calorie glaze for baked goods or even be used inside some baked goods themselves. I've not noticed any weird aftertaste that you find with a lot of sugar substitutes.

This stuff sucks, takes so many spoonfuls for it to sweeten coffee compared to Splenda. Basically paying for half.
Actually you're paying for something that doesn't have the ingredients that Splenda has

Allulose does not raise blood sugar. Some "low-carb" natural sweeteners do: like maltitol.

Creates way more Advanced Glycation End products than sugar
Not according to this study: https://www.mdpi.com/1422-0067/25/13/6921

"These results suggest allulose is associated with less AGE formation compared to fructose or glucose, and support its safety as a low-calorie sugar alternative."

Still, there may be better options with less AGE impact.

The last time I bought a big bag of zero calorie sweetener via slickdeals, a week later it came out that it was carcinogenic.
Which sweetener was that? …This sugar is normally found in tiny amounts in certain fruits, I think that's why it's called a rare sugar. But who knows what would happen when you're eating out of a 5 pound bag of the stuff! The worst that I heard from someone who supposedly is up on The latest research on things like this, is that it may very negatively effect vision. he said that it may be like the same problem with the GLP weight loss drugs which he claims also has damaged vision in a few? Some? People… if anyone cares to do a little search on that, I'd love to hear about it

I haven't used this brand before but I've used allulose for different things and it does act like sugar in certain instances but not in others. For instance, making a Crème Brule it works well for the custard but not for the topping. Nothing really works well for the caramelized topping except real sugar so use one teaspoon or so, count the 4 carbs in that teaspoon and eat the sugar free allulose custard. Just make sure you add 30% more so you get the same sweetness of sugar since allulose is 70% as sweet.

Allulose is chemically virtually identical to sugar but so are alcohol sugars which have been linked to higher incidence of heart problems.

Seems pretty safe and is very unlikely to be carcinogenic specifically, but I'd keep an eye out for research regarding its effect on heart health. If it has problems those would be most likely based on the other compounds that have had more testing.
In its purest form which is what's sold... it doesn't have additives to it like other stuff. It essentially is sugar.

Actually you are paying for a substance that was once and is currently classified as a laxative at mild amounts

Using Allulose in a Ninja even for the smallest beverage will require a cup or more

Sending prayers for your asshole and GI system if you are drinking a cup or more of allulose a day - and you will need WAYYYYYY more than cup for a zero soda

Been using allulose for years, never once had a gut problem. You might want to do some research and fix what ever is wrong with your gut. My guess is a lot of things upset your gut.

might want to see how many laxatives use allulose as an ingredient. might want to check how it was first used, in medical formulations of mild hospital laxatives. please educate me, help me to understand things that will take you years of studying to even borderline comprehend

Wish the price per pound was closer to $2.50 like some older deals.

"Tased like sugar", "natural sweetner", and "dissolve fast".

No thanks—if you can't get spelling and grammar right in your advert, I'm not sure you can keep lead dust out of your sugar substitute.
Mmmmm lead dust
