I loved my original G8 so much, I bought a second one, just in case.

Between this and kishi v2, I prefer this, but it does add bulk and I would say it's much less travel friendly. Buying the x5 lite later so I can use it more on the go.
Darn. I think the one downvote might have killed it then q.q it should come up just searching Mobile Controller. But yeah the S9 is on a "lightning sale" with Amazon for $62.90 with prime shipping https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/t/18350848
Did it not come up on the edit either? Huh. Well here's the direct Amazon link. And mannnnn I wish I was high

The only problem is I like to switch between gaming and tablet mode frequently.
The Y700 is right on the edge of what the S9 will take so taking it in and out can feel a little risky with so much leverage on the USB-C port, juggling compression, etc. For smaller devices, it's a non-issue but I mainly got it to use with the Y700.
I didn't want to have to deal with bluetooth and a separate controller battery... but for the Y700 specifically, GameSir G8+ may be the better choice (pop it in and out without aligning or stressing the port). Meanwhile for all the decommissioned smartphones I have (awaiting the next trade-in deal), the Abxylute S9 is still great since it's plug-and-play without messing with pairing and pass-through helps since a lot of the older phones have dying batteries.

I wonder if it's possible to mod it to reduce the tension on the pull or something 🤔 but that's good to know. I was thinking about picking up a used y700 in a couple months and just having the S9 permanently attached essentially. That tablet comes up all the time. People really seem to love it
I think you can map the controls to simulate touch and place the virtual buttons wherever, but I also just read that the functionality was removed from iOS (not Gamesir's fault) as of a few months ago. So if you're on android and there are touch controls on-screen, you should be able to map virtual touch controls to them that correspond to the gamepad. If the game has native gamepad support then you're golden anyways.
So without xinput, is this thing going to be a pain for Xbox cloud gaming on an iPhone?
Don't do it.
