Bungie is a derelict wreck of what it used to be, all the passionate creative talent has long since vacated for quality of life reasons. The game had no long term plan (gasp) despite Reddit's delusion that every single expansion was its next comeback (nostalgia for a time that never existed). And now Marathon? Because if there's anything the Destiny community truly loved it was a game based purely around parkour...which is basically like taking the second most hated concept from Destiny (jumping puzzles) combining it with the most hated concept (PVP) and turning into an entire franchise, the most tone-deaf thing you could possibly imagine.

Hopefully now that most of the old guard has been consumed by the corporate slave machine (Activision/Bungie/Bethesda/Bioware) they can all rest in peace and we can eagerly await the indy market which seems to be the next holdout for any kind of quality or creative talent.

The shareholder value though.
