Which under-$100 keyboard do you suggest for a compatible iPad? Curious, because if none exist, then this is a great deal. Whether you think it is worth it or not is irrelevant, it's whether there is something just as good, durable and reliable for as you say, less than $100.

Exactly! I bought an aftermarket one on Amazon for $60 and the trackpad is awful. I purchased this one and I'm returning it.

Purchased it for my very lightly used, and still very fast gen 1 ipad pro 11. Very nice. Although, I just picked it up, and need to customize its keys, since I need Esc

I bought a cheap used keyboard folio for my M2 iPad Pro 11". Any reason to upgrade to this?
No, you should keep using third party as long as it keeps you happy. Some day you'll realize how nice the Apple brand stuff is, and then your iPad purchases will be that much more expensive after that.

I snagged one but I guess if you really couldn't spend the $100 you could use a Bluetooth keyboard.

As an iPad Pro owner, every time I see these I get excited, but then I can't figure out the use case. Less useful than a trifold case for media consumption, gaming, and drawing due to the angles, bulkiness, and fold angles. More expensive and less stable than a MacBook Air for typing. A $30 tiny fold up keyboard (like from iClever) meets both use cases.

If you don't have a MacBook and do a lot of typing and other productivity on your iPad on the road, at the right price, this could suit a user better than the trifold. (I've had and used both.)

Except not all apple stuff is even well made. These types of folia keyboards have had a lot of issues.
