I haven't heard about the battery powered models, though.

So this model still requires butane, just a smaller canister. I highly recommend it. I converted all of my nailers to Paslode.

Yes I have the 16 gage version , it uses mapp gas for fuel and a battery to ignite the fuel to drive the nail
It's heavier than a air gun but much lighter that a battery powered gun also shoots a bit faster than battery powered.
Paslode is a contractor brand so its made to be used all day
