Great price for a solid CPU and 32GB RAM. I think this is actually a 90hz mini-LED panel that's 400 nits in SDR and 600 in HDR, but don't quote me.
Yes, it is. You're right.

How does this compare to the Omnibook X that was shared? It's a little older but nearly half the cost. I wish it were OLED but nothing is perfect. might still be great for image work.

eh it's not available near me anyways. that's too bad.

Why does the spec sheet say this is only 300 nits??? Has to be a mistake?

i would stay away from the HP due to its heating issues, its ryzen 5 and i think its only 8gb soldered Ram? thats the one i found on the site, so i would definitely go for more Ram and diff brand.

Yes, it is a mistake.
The QHD display on this model only comes with the mini-LED 90Hz 600-nits HDR.

Will Dell honor the warranty from then you bought the laptop, or when it was originally sold? Read some complaints about Asus only having a 90 day warranty. Thanks.

It's fine. Some people just like to rag on whatever brand or models with anecdotal evidence and it goes the other way too (positive experience but they can't break down why...usually some lame brand loyalty). These are basically outstanding specs for the price and if you have the paid Best Buy membership, you have 60 days to return.

how this compares to https://www.bestbuy.com/site/dell.../6575151.p ? same processor but 16gb ram for $433. is it worth paying $565 for 16gb more? or any other benefits for extra money?

I reserved a fair condition one, but honestly don't think I feel like lugging a 16" laptop around. Dell is fine, but inspiron is heavy in general
