Please note they are based off Pakistan and operate all call centers from Pakistan

And?

Every time I work with USM staff they are competent, polite, and patient. And almost always get things right on the first effort!

To compare, "US-based" Consumer Cellular is a joke for "customer service."

I switched from T-Mobile to US Mobile last month. I wish I switched sooner.

Very easy to port out. No issues. It's great being able to switch between all three networks, which is unique to US Mobile.

My wife was hesitant to switch, but she's had no issues at all on Dark Star (AT&T). I have RCS issues on Dark Star with a OnePlus 13, but no issues on Warp (Verizon).

I tried dark star, didn't support RCS, so group chat/imessage with Androids won't work.

Else speeds were meh for me, Verizon (warp) still the best.
When did you try dark star? Supposedly it was fixed with iOS 18.5 which was released on May 12th

Is that why their customer support is so good? I just assumed they trained up their team and gave them the tools to fix issues.

Unlike total wireless. Total wireless decided to sync my plan renewals for my phones, I lost between 1 week and 3 weeks of prepaid service on 4 lines. Their customer service was sorry (I could tell because we were counting because the Rep said I am sorry like it was a nervous tick. The manager was also sorry, sorry, sorry. I promised to 1. Get my money back they stole from me. 2. Leave total wireless. 3. Tell everyone about them stealing from me. (He was still sorry ) I handed the phone to my wife so she could hear him say sorry. I used a different phone and called my credit card company and got my money back before he was finished saying sorry over and over to my wife.

edit to be clear I like us mobile's customer support.

Currently use Warp (Verizon) with Us Mobile and very happy with the service, price and email-based customer service.

Dark Star was launched a year or so ago and runs on At&t network which I've not tried directly.
It's annoying they keep offering promos on dark star and not warp. I want to stay on Verizon

Odd. I see RCS when clicking more details in the standard messaging app when messaging an iPhone user and I'm on the Dark Star Starter Plan. Speeds aren't as good at my house but still 4-5 bars everywhere else.

So after the year is over for the annual plan, I'm assuming it would transfer automatically to regular rates for all lines?

I'm on total wireless now for four lines - $100 a month for $1200 a year. Getting two unlimited plans would give me four lines for $700 which is pretty nice assuming the AT&T service is as good as Verizon in my area. if it goes to normal prices after the year, it would be about $110 a month but all up front in terms of payment which sucks. Guess I could just port to someone else after the year is up.

Anyone else having an error at payment? Tried Apple Pay, and a number of different cards.

Ugg... I literally signed up for Unlimited Starter yesterday. Any possibility of still getting this deal?

Never mind, looks like they automatically loaded it to my account! Nice!

Definitely. I tell all the people I have referred to US mobile that it is the best possible customer service I have encountered

Are we required to stay on Dark Star (AT&T) the entire year? Or can I switch immediately to Light Speed or Warp after signing up?

With a profile picture like that I do not want to help. However. I am having the same problem.

Something about Stripe elements on every type of payment.
