And?

Every time I work with USM staff they are competent, polite, and patient. And almost always get things right on the first effort!

To compare, "US-based" Consumer Cellular is a joke for "customer service."

I switched from T-Mobile to US Mobile last month. I wish I switched sooner.

Very easy to port out. No issues. It's great being able to switch between all three networks, which is unique to US Mobile.

My wife was hesitant to switch, but she's had no issues at all on Dark Star (AT&T). I have RCS issues on Dark Star with a OnePlus 13, but no issues on Warp (Verizon).

Does the "OVERDRIVE" extend along with the BOGO?

pretty good deal except i dont use alot of data, 5gb max so this is kind of a waste
I'm in the same boat as you. I have 2 lines and use 8gb max shared between the two! Right now I use the a la cart plan that USM offers. I'd have to port out, wait 15 days, get this deal next Sunday, and activate bogo within 30 days. Kinda a hassle.
edit: looks like infimobile via prime has some great deals, will give them a shot

I am on a free trial of us mobile.

Can I buy the bogo offer by porting in my spouse's line and then port out my line and then switch back to us mobile by using second line on bogo offer?

These guys make it very difficult to port out and leave
so I no longer recommend them or use them

what they're doing borders on illegal
i was going to report them to the FCC
I used US Mobile earlier on multiple lines(including their 90 free trial) never experienced any issues. Customer service was also good, always ask what is your new deals and try to match if they can.

I ported 2 lines out a couple of months ago with no issues at all. All I had to do was reach out to chat support and let them know I wanted to port out and needed my details.

They asked me to confirm my info via SMS and email. Then I got an email with the details needed to give to the other carriers. Not sure what was so difficult for you but it took like 10 minutes at most each time. Confused

Did any one tried the switch between the networks? How does the switch count, lets say if you switched for 6 hours when the network is bad and switched back to Darkstar on the same day will it count 1 day(of 36 days in the year) or only those hours will add up to 36 days( 36*24 hrs)?

Also contacted customer support on what happens if I go more than 10% on WRAP. I was told that if you exceed 10% or 36 days in the year you will be charged the difference in the amount for the annual plan( which is another $42 if you switch to WRAP) + the charge for the second free line too

Can anyone confirm this?

Your line would have to be ported out for more than 15 days to qualify to come back in and claim the promo unlimited starter - this clue was posted by others after interactions with customer service. I have done this already with two lines - I will try to bring them back from Tello in about 16 days.

Try Number Barn or Tello. Google Voice allows free port in but charges $20 to port out.
GV # is free if you have a google email, $3 to port out, porting in a # costs $20.

Agreed. Glad I have another week before doing an eSIM purchase and sitting on it for 45 day to see clear updates on Apple Watch. I have two family members who could save a little on Warp but quite a bit more on a Dark Star deal. They have to have easy access to Apple Watch. Annoying how many assumed a carrier update would be a magic fix - after digging deeper it seems that a special contract and server side changes need to arrive and those cannot be blamed on Apple like RCS - must be a challenging negotiation as the Q2 estimate looks almost beyond reach at this late date. If I can get my money back for unused product on multi-month it is worth buying and waiting while my other non-watch family members move on with the BOGO. As for "what happens after a year" - as long as I can port out and back in I have no worries. I did NOT experience resistance to getting my port information and I was up front with CS that I intended to leave for 15 days and come back to make sure I don't void current policies and terms. Glad they were specific that 15 days is enough. If that gets reneged on it will definitely cause me concern and impact future deal-making.

Dan
Don't see Apple watch happening soon. It's controlled by the main provider, in this case ATT. These promos look to me as an attempt to get enough people on DS for leverage on ATT for watch service.

Well, I ported 2 lines in to get the deal and Dark Star is almost unusable in my location. Does anyone know if I can use the Add Second Network for $90/line/year get warp and keep the BOGO?
