Interesting thought, now I'm considering if I should just have my air compressor with the blower attachment sitting nearby when I try to barbecue. Get far enough back and then blow at it and it might actually work

either that or I can set the house on fire but you know you got to try these things.

I like the other fan that can tilt up. This is more with and harder to get diff angles to blow on you.

i want it to hang around my neck as i go for long walks and have air blow up to my neck/face

Don't waste your money. These are completely useless unless you're just looking to ignite bbq coals as someone mentioned. They are so loud, like a jet engine. Embarrassingly loud to use in any indoor space. Returning the one I bought on the other deal.

considering this type of fan for a rave or hot venue. i have manual fans but those get tired of flapping around.

thanks I was wondering about this. Some of these small units are insanely loud.
