This thing sucks, even at $7. Plugging or unplugging anything will slightly tilt the whole thing, as it doesn't sit stably on the outlet. And my unit got super hot whenever I charged anything with the USB-C port

be careful getting generic power outlets for higher power devices. i guess its ok for low power devices for slow charging

Not sure about the heat issue, but I will agree that the thing swivels around too much and does not stay put. I ended up swapping back to non-swivel-able outlets.

Worth $7 at the most,
Bad design, will pull away from outlet when unplugging a cord
1800J surge protection (only good enough for small electronics, definitely not phones/tablets)
Clamping voltage of 800V is too high

i have this and now that you mention it, it does swivel and doesnt lock in place. doesnt bother me because i never add/remove the plugs. I just wanted to plug my extension cord from the side of the outlet rather than sticking out the front. i also have the one that screw mounts into your outlet but I havent installed it yet https://a.co/d/4Drzkex
