the basic visible is complete trash. can't tell you how many times i was at home depot, costco, or even outside in a strip mall parking lot and unable to get any data
I had that issue when I had a 4G only phone. Now that I have 5G I have really good service in that same area. Not sure if that is what was causing your bad experience. I am not defending Visible
it looks like the plus plan enables 5G UWB, I'm guessing that's it
I'm inclined to say priority doesn't matter as much if you're not getting reception in the first place

Yeah I dont know. I currently have Verizon and want to switch to Visible as well and their tool is telling me my phone is not compatible either. Im on Verizon, how the heck can my phone not work? Its a Moto One 5G UW. Its an older phone but im completely happy with it. So i was looking at their phones and they do have good deals on some of their phones but they are always out of stock it seems. I can still get the phone I want directly from Motorola for $100. more though which I dont really want to doDoes anyone know if the phones sold by Visible are carrier specific to just them. I would think they arent but does anyone know?
I had a friend I referred have an "unsupported" android phone. He just selected iPhone 12 and ordered a SIM. Worked fine.

I have the 40 dollar plan with hotspot. Got it and mostly just use the hotspot because internet is expensive in Juneau Alaska. I get upto 20mbps. Between 10 and 20mbps hotspot. I downloaded 250gb games. It did take 12 hours or so but better than paying 200 a month for home internet. It's good enough to play xbox games watch netflix, hulu, amazon or hbo max. So I'm happy with it.

I've had my wife on the basic plan for over a year now and its worked great in NYC, DC and other "congested" places. There is only one building on her work campus she gets no reception, but she just uses Wi-Fi.

i was outside in the parking lot with clear skies and it was still terrible. now that i have the visible plus plan, i have no issues anymore
I hopped on Visible about a month ago, coming from a. old grandfathered T-Mobile account. T-Mobile was fine but I had issues with my account that support seemed to be unable to resolve. So far I can't tell a difference with Visible and that's a good thing because T-Mobile is excellent where I live and my plan was great...Edit: Whoops didn't mean to post this as a reply lol

Please look into us mobile. They have all 3 major carrier coverage (one at a time) they have dumb/fun naming schemes for the different networks, I am on the Verizon one and their customer support is fantastic (call or chat to ask for help). Their prices may not be the absolute best but imhop the customer service is well worth it. At the very least it would be a good first switch of service they will white glove your move. Once you get a good feel and are ready for a new phone you can "do it yourself" and switch.Just my opinion, I am not up to date on prices as I am grandfathered in my current plans.(as someone that pays attention to consumer protection, this is the correct way to do this. I signed up for x service at y cost and will renew this agreement for as long as I can. If they want to change x or y I should need to consent to the changes, common sense) (Personally I make 2 total cost of ownership spreadsheets including phone, one for 3 years and one with 5 years with different options buying vs leasing vs "free" I always end up buying unlocked flagship samsungs).
US Mobile is a nice option. But people need to know that all tiers of their plans enforce video streaming limits so you can't stream higher than 480p. If that matters to you, the top tier Visible is 4k and the mid tier is 1080p with their lowest tier being 480p like ALL of US mobile plans.

Haha I know. But I have been paying $100-$120 annually for the last 15 years or so
Wow that's amazing. I used to have TMobile and that was over $80 per month. Can't imagine paying 100 annually.

Like in YouTube? (I use revance) I don't think I have that limitation, it seems like when I change to a better resolution to read text 1080. I also live in a rural area where partners seem to often forget to limit speeds. (Years and years of experience with multiple carriers) just did a speed test on the Verizon radios on US Mobile with 179 down and 3.12 up with 3 bars on 5g.

Agreed. I switched from the basic Visible plan to AT&T Prepaid for $300 for the year (coming out to $25 a month).

I was considering that ATT Prepaid plan… til I saw it's just 16 GB data, then down to 1.5 Mbps (that's its definition of "unlimited"). That part was a hard Nope for me; I feel like for $25/mo there are so many better options out there with more data.

Had Redpocket annual - did trial and was very solid, running Oneplus 11, 600mbps and hotspot was decent and unlimited - a no brainer for me
