I have this nearly exact kit. It sucks. The needles are worthless, can't be threaded, I had to put in an extra needle. I fly for a living, so it is nice to have a travel kit, and I have used it on planes to do emergency patches on myself and my coworkers...But aside from needing different needles. That circle needle holder came broken. The zipper on the kit doesn't work, it doesn't zip, no matter how much you try it will always be open. The thimble doesn't even fit my pinkie, it is child size. And the thread, while nice to have plenty of it and multiple colors, finding where the thread starts is also near impossible. I've managed to find what seems to be the end of one, not the start, and getting enough from that is a massive struggle.

I guess this could just be mine, and the only sewing training I've had was in the 7th grade home ec class that also had a few cooking days with very expired foods...but I don't think a kit should work like the one I have. At least it was cheap.

Unless you just have to have a kit right now, probably don't rush to buy. Amazon is littered with similar (or the same kit) for $5 normal price. (Temu has them for $2.31 as well).
