I bought this from a deal posted in December for $7.52, so this price is comparable.

For less than a dollar each, you could do worse. I think they taste decent.

These go on sale at Kroger for $1, so less than that is a good deal I think. I like these a little better than the other similar brand item that was on here last week. That one was essentially just a cheap ramen pack in a microwaveable dish. These are a little less blatantly cheap seeming, for a similar or the same price.

They used to make a Thai Peanut version of these. I cannot find them anywhere, anyone know a place that carries them or if they were discontinued?

Got last time. Just a bunch of noodles, taste ok. Need to add some veggies and chicken etc to make it a better meal. Probably won't buy this again.

The Nissin products sold in Japan taste way better, but is that because these ones are made to suit the American market, where people mostly eat junk food and don't have very refined taste?

People are also healthier and live longer in Japan. You don't see any overweight people there. Look at the amount of salt and fat that is in one serving for the American counterpart.
