Could I plug this into a power bank? How long would it run?

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

The white one just arrived and it's way louder than my other USB fans even in the lowest setting.. it moves air ok, but i'd much prefer the ~5" bladed USB fans I typically get.

I tilt my fan slightly down and have it blowing across my laptop keyboard on low and that seems to solve my warm laptop issue.. this fan will do it, but it's louder and has a larger footprint on my desk.

This fan does not oscillate.
Excellent! I hate oscillating fans. I always switch that option off, if it has it, and it is one more thing to break.

This probably a stupid question. Would this work to just put behind my modem and router to air it out. I've noticed it's been getting pretty hot around it. It's in a fairly open spot in my entertainment center but still getting quite warm.
First, I would check if it starts when power is applied, or if you have to push start, otherwise, you will have no cooling after a power outage. All the USB fans I have require you to start them after applying power. I've used PC fans with a power brick, resistor, and switch to provide a safe, light, quiet breeze. Some will probably work okay off 5v from a USB port (add a USB plug or cable), and not require a manual start.

Thanks. I'm looking for virtually silent with a slight breeze. I can DIY with a PC fan, but would like a pre built fan. How is the fan you linked for being quiet. I have a few other USB fans which are not as quiet as I like, and some have a vibration that adds to the noise.

Space isn't an issue. It's air flow. If the back of the cabinet is fully sealed and the front. The air has no where to move. You might need a holes in the back. Like one near the bottom and one near the top so the heat is able to escape.

Does it move air well though? I have similar to what you posted, the gaiatop one and want moar air. Don't care about noise as I have noise canceling headphones 95% of the tome

How is this compare to one of the best selling table fan in Amazon for $8.99?

https://www.amazon.com/Gaiatop-Po...B0BWDBMQ1X

At least based on reviewer, Gaiatop table fan has much more review and higher rating 4.6 (with 6000+ reviews) compare to this one which only has 200 or so reviews
I would be interested to know how comparable it is to this 4.5" desktop fan that I've actually purchased several of: https://a.co/d/adV0CqH

They are nearly the same design but 1" smaller. For me, I have preferred the design that these fans share compared to the other types of stands because they are more compact if you need to move them, sturdy when placed somewhere, and offer a better means of securing them in place with the flat base with rubber grips compared to some of the hollow molded bases that have plastic edges on whatever surface they are put on.

I bought two of these for $6 each and it looks like they are currently $6.79 each ATOP. They also have a review score of 4.6 stars.

I think the pricing for what you posted as a 5.5" fan and what is essentially the same design that I have at 4.4" probably justifies the pricing difference of both but I thought I would share in case someone wanted some size options.

After reading reviews of this Driveblues fan, it looks like they may suffer from some quality control issues and might not be the best investment for the money.
