Is this better than the Arete that's available on Amazon for 30? Looks like it has more pockets but shape looks different

Note: M.U.L.E. apparently stands for "Medium to Ultra Long Endeavors" not "Multiple Use Labor Element."

I literally just got the Arete delivered today. It has a small mesh outer pocket with a quite large single inner pocket with a separator between the water pack. Says it holds 12.5L, then the 1.5L of water (=14 from the name?)
So I think the Arete holds more, like a backpack so it's slightly larger.

Probably not worth the difference depending on usage.

The Mini MULE is (nominally) for kids, but I just tried one on at a store a few hours ago and it fit me fine, if not better since it didn't have a ton of extra slack in the straps. (I'm an adult male who typically wears a Medium slim shirt, 6'0" ~170 lbs, for what it's worth.)

How so? Giant 4" screw top hole? Super fast to fill and empty…how could it get easier than this? Truly curious by your comment.

So I went a looked at the osprey water bags. They have a ziplock style bag. They are also more expensive with the lowest end model starting at $70, up to hundreds.
I own a couple osprey backpacks, so I love the brand. My daily is an osprey.

But back to your comment, I see no way that their bag I easier to fill than a camelbaks.. I also don't see how theirs is as secure as a screw on lid. We don't see pouches of drinks in the store, they all have screw caps, no zip bags with clamps.

So yeah, definitely thumbs down to your post.
