I have used it on Android with Bluetooth, not sure about PC (cuz I use the 2.4ghz receiver that comes with it) but I'm assuming it'd work also....although I'd advise against using Bluetooth if you still have the receiver
Thank you

Firmware update is posted on Reddit. It is in Beta, but appears to work. Scroll all the way down to the bottom and you will see Beta Firmware for a bunch of the controllers, including the 2C!

Does this stick drift over time (just like most controllers)?
It shouldn't as the sticks are hall effect afaik.

What?? Oh no. That sucks. I thought controller compatibility would have been a relatively easy thing. I guess I don't have as many Switch 2 controllers as I thought.
Yep, just tested on mine. It's not working.

I know some people aren't fond of the colors on these but it makes them a lot easier to find inside a drawer or armrest full of black and white controllers

EDITED parts in bold:

Most early
wireless 8bitdo controllers were either Bluetooth OR 2.4GHz. All of them (that I know of) also work wired. If you buy a Bluetooth 8bitdo, it will not have the 2.4GHz dongle; but, if you get a 2.4GHz one, it looks like many of those have a switch on the back that lets you choose between 2.4GHz (syncs only with the included USB dongle) and Bluetooth modes. FWIW, I was excited about this deal post until I saw it was for the Bluetooth variant, because I prefer the 2.4GHz mainly for latency but also stability.

Also be aware that some of the controllers they make are custom tailored to plug into original game consoles. So, just because you see a dongle is included doesn't necessarily mean you're getting a USB dongle; it's worth double checking.

Does this work wired if I want to? Or is it only wireless via bluetooth/dongle. Amazon review says it doesn't.

I had the original... It was great, other than the stick drift. With the Hall Sticks supposedly taking care of that issue, they really can't be beat for this price.
