Bought an almost exact model from Amazon and wasn't happy with the quality or cut. Also noted to be a frequently returned item. The Philips one blade is better than this - opinion of course.
Watched review video and I will say this is a very old style vintage product that lacks many modern features. Worst offenders: custom charger cord - dont lose it!, no battery level display, fragile attachments with cheap sticking out plastic pins (you can see them in product pictures) that can easily break and become useless, very small slim body can be awkward to hold. For such "premium" expensive product its unacceptable.

Anyone know how this compares to something like the lawnmower I kept seeing ads for a while back, I'm interested in non-face shaving. If not this what is a good cheaper alternative to the lawnmower?

have one. hate it. swapping of the depth adapters is a royal pain. they dont click on right, and i waste a ton of time trying to get them aligned. the dial to rotate to different lengths is also a pain. charging cable is proprietary and a pita to keep track of. takes 50 passes over the same section of hair to get it all cut. on pass 45 you still hear it cutting errant hair that it missed the first 44 passes.

Depends on how much of a hurry I'm in. If I'm late? Still cutting hair I missed!

As far as the body trimmer aspect of it, 0.5mm is not close enough. I own an antique Braun cruZer 6 body trimmer that does 0.2mm and not even that is close enough. For that you want the Philips OneBlade Pro 360.

The one blade doesn't seem to have as many lengths, and way to get a longer cut?

The depth guide on my most recent Wahl, just like a previous brand, broke after a while, and the replacements were in the $20 range. If you don't care about brand names [amazon.com], I gave this one a shot and am pretty pleased with it so far. Waterproof, USB-C charging, adjustable depth, I've not experienced any pinching, scratching or pulling. And for $29.99 if it breaks in a couple years I won't be heartbroken.
