I think this deal is better overall due to the 5070 Ti vs plain 5070 in the Microcenter deal.

edit: But these two notebooks aren't really directly comparable. The Microcenter deal has a much better screen than this one, but higher resolution and less VRAM.

Do all the HP OMEN MAX models have the heat pipe design where its located over the main SSD so you have to repaste if you wanna upgrade or take it out?

its okay if you can manage with 1 extra and the default ssd. i dont know why they designed it as such

i had this issue too. turned out it's because my account was linked to student discount. if your email account is linked to some perk like work or school you can't stack discount. create a new account with different email and should work.

I'd def. pay $60 more for
- 16" diagonal, WQXGA (2560 x 1600), IPS, micro-edge, anti-glare, Low Blue Light, 500 nits

and $10 for
- more for WIFI 7 and 5.4 Bluetooth

I don't need a gaming laptop, I just want a business laptop, don't need the VGA
I haven't yet seen any business laptop with Intel Core Ultra 7 (or 9) 2xxHX, I'll take it with 2 slots of RAMs so I can go up to 64G later. I'd pay $800 without the VGA, with 2+ thunderbolt 4 ports

you cant, like dell this is no option to split payment.

Edit: But they have paypal which allows you to split, Amex may honor the offer but not sure about chase as it says directly with merchant. My previous experiences are like inconsistent. Sometimes it worked, sometimes not

I think it's only temporary. HP is still advertising the code on their website and when you try to use the code it says it's temporarily not available.
