For some reason there aren't a lot of magsafe desk arms with charging, so I used this and the Lisen version to replace the clamp style phone holders I had on mine. Cheap and easy; most use the same ball and socket joint.

Ordered one, came today. Box was opened, and everything was shoved inside without order. Clearly opened unit. Also, the lip of the box lid was bent. Needless to say, it goes back to Amazon.
Buyer beware, these guys are trying to offload open boxes and returned units as new. Probably, that's why the reduced price.

As I understand it, it's compatible but it won't charge at 15W. I don't know much about this stuff, so don't rely on me, but FWIW, I'm confident enough to order it for my Android.

In for 1. I bought a pair of charging mounts a bit ago, and they have a fan that runs when charging that makes an annoying noise. Hopefully this won't do that.

How is this one so far? and How is your older one with a fan? This one listed does not have a fan.

Yeah, I got it, but I had to return it since the vent mount didn't work with my car's vent slats.

Otherwise it worked fine, and I would have preferred to keep it. My car's vents have a large central thick slat and this will only grip very thin slats.
