This is the post-merger US Airways card from Barclays, not Citi. AAdvantage miles are my absolute favorite. They've increased in value in recent years. Booking domestic itineraries with them is easy, especially if you are flexible. Of course the Citi 75k offer is much better. I wouldn't apply for this one under 60k, and I'd only be willing to pay the annual fee if I was desperate for enough miles for an international trip etc.
The main benefit here is you don't need to spend a lot to get the points, you need to make 1 purchase.
lol, you don't waste hard inquiry on 50k miles where 75k no fee and only one purchase req offer comes around often. I am someone with 3 million aadvantage miles.
