I like the concept. Has anyone used this before?

Looks like it isn't worth getting. Lifetime of the hotspot, not lifetime 1GB data. The critical reviews on Amazon should scare most rational people away as well. Looks like they may not be honest about data usage and customer support isn't great.

I've only used it in the US. It's multi network meaning it will find the strongest signal and switch to that. The data is expensive but the bulk data doesn't expire. Really depends on your type of need. If you already hotspot from your phone, you probably don't need it.

Doesn't this mean that you have 2gb LTE if by rotation? One for half the month, the other for the rest.

It pays for itself in the second year if there is no monthly fee, right?

It's a daily fee per pass. I used the original about 10 years ago back when it was more expensive to get international data, but don't see the purpose anymore.

This is correct. Every month your start with a 1gb data allowance at no additional cost - but can add more via prepaid credits if needed.

I heard that the 1gb is really 250mb per week not even given for the whole month

Not sure of your source. I'm seeing 1gb refreshed each month under "lifetime plan" in my dashboard
