I don't have deep knowledge about electrical things, but we had a work van that wouldn't start, and I could see where a grounding wire was dangling, and where it had been attached to the frame inside the wheelwell, and the bolt it used to sit on was just gone. Used this little guy to clamp it in place, which got the van to start and drive back to base.
This is not an everyday-use tool for me, but I keep it in a mini tool 'bug-out' bag that has a compact and abbreviated selection of essential tools.
Amazon history says I paid $7.36 for this in 2019.

Poor or loose grounds are frequently a problem with older rustier cars. I have often gotten stranded motorists back on the road by using their jumper cables to connect the battery negative terminal to the frame and to the engine. Not a long term solution, but will hopefully get them somewhere to address the real problem.
