OK... Lets put things in perspective... I feel this is way too much money for what it offers.
What does it offer... 12.4" WQXGA 90Hz IPS, 8GB, 128GB, w/ S-Pen what is being kept quite is the CPU that runs this tablet. It is made by Sammy and is the Exynos 1380 processor.
Now lets put things in perspective. The snapdragon 6 Gen 1 is considered IDENTICAL in SPEED to the Exynos 1380.
Now, I got my Iplay60 Mini Turbo for $128 before the Trump tariffs about eight months ago. It also has 8GB of RAM and 128GB AND has the Snap Dragon 6 Gen 1 CPU PLUS it has USB-C 3.1 (so you have USB-C to HDMI out). It now costs $165 on Ali.
I will use the new Tariff price of $165 for the iplay60 mini turbo. NOW IS THE QUESTION... is $215 (the additional cost for the Samsung) worth a larger screen and the S-Pen and upgrades. And I say... HELL NO!!!
I will now criticize Samsung.... First of all before I start let me say the FE (Fan Edition) is suppose to offer a flag ship CPU (or something close) with no frills and this is NOT WHAT WE GOT. Based on all my research, in 2025, the NEW LOW END CPU for tablets is the Snap Dragon 6 Gen 1 or the Exynos 1380 or the Dimensity 7050 (about 4% slower)... THAT MEANS SAMSUNG is advertising there last generation FE models as a decent tablet when in fact it is just the new low end tablet of 2025. I feel Samsung is milking the consumer.

you are comparing a Chinese knockoff 8.4" tablet to a Samsung 12.4" one? Even the screen real estate difference plus the brand reliability are worth more than the price difference. I would tell no one to prefer what you are advertising to this if they have to buy a tablet.

Kind of... EXACTLY!!!
Like how can I compare a CHEAP CHEAP tablet to this one?
They are the same speed, same RAM, same HD... but the CHEAP one has USB-C 3.1(HDMI out via USB-C) and yes... it means... just like I posted before....
THE QUESTION is if the $215 (the additional cost for the Samsung) is worth a larger screen and the S-Pen and upgrades. And I still say NO.
So I had the Tab S8+ and felt is was just way too big. So I sold it and purchased the Tab S9, thinking 11" is the perfect size. But I now realize I like the smaller tablets (sub 9"). I tend to use my tablet when I am watching a movie in bed. And I also own the iplay60 mini turbo which is made by a known Chinese brand. And yes, I tend to use my iplay60 mini the most.
I am actually wanting to buy this new tablet coming out in a few days.... https://9to5google.com/2025/06/07...ne-launch/

As usual Dr keeps deflecting.... the reason people don't think this is a good deal is obvious. It isn't. The full fat flagship S9 was on sale for about $50 more with a certain Best cashback site and around the same price as this on another One a couple of days ago.

Sure, it's not the plus model, but the CPU is in a league of its own. Why would anyone buy this when you can get the non FE for a little bit more? You find some good laptop deals, but this is not it for tablets.

Not really. You missed the deal with the S9 which has an 8 Gen 2 for around the same price. You could argue that the iplay60 is a better value, but the better processor, upgraded build, OLED screen, and s pen make the regular model worth it for me.

I guess you did not understand anything I said. And you want to compare Low End Chinee Tablet to Samsung's FASTEST 11".... and you want me to comment on this????
Now for your other comments that make NO SENSE!!!!
I already said the processors are the SAME HORSEPOWER... If I had to choose one I would choose the Snapdragon. Saying Samsung's Tablet that is 3 times the price is better IS A LIE.
Better Build Quality: They are both aluminum build. I can say that I had to send my Samsung Tab S9 back to Sammy for repairs (my usb-c charger only charged up to 10w when it is suppose to charge upto 45w) and I never had to do that with my Iplay60 mini turbo. While I agree with you that Sammy's build quality is better, but they are both very good!!!
Yes Sammy has a larger and better screen. WHICH MEANS ALOT.
BUT FOR THE PRICE AND SPECS... THIS IS NOT A DEAL AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
There is a slower tablet for sale... a lenovo for $200ish with a G99. To me that is one of the better tablet deal right now.
I will also state the due to the bloatware in the Sammy... I would have to say that the iplay60 mini turbo is slightly faster.

I'm not comparing the Tab S9 to the low end chinese tablet, that's what you brought up, and I said that it has a place since it was very good value before tariffs.

Here's is what I said again: There was little point in buying THIS S9 FE (the tablet in this post) for around the same price as the S9 after cash back listed here.

You had to send your Tab S9 back to Samsung for repairs? Are you sure you are using a good cable and adapter? I have one and it charges around 29w max on my 30w charger. You need PPS and PD for it to work at full power, though I do agree that with OneUI 7 it's a bit slower. The Lenovo tablet is better value for sure, but it's a bit of a downgrade to the S9, and it's going to stop receiving updates soon.

The S9 also comes with the s pen, which I'd value at minimum of $75 so essentially it was 325 for big upgrades over the Lenovo, where the deal is also expired...

I also hate the term "bloatware". Why the negative connotation? Pixel stock OS is great and I still use Pixels but Samsung adds genuinely useful features and the OS is no Touchwiz of previous years. It's closer to the stock feel than ever before while maintaining an enhanced level of customization that doesn't bog down the experience anymore. While I like my P9, the Tensor G4 is efficient but relatively "slow" compared to both this tablet and the two-year-old S23. If you've used the Tab S9, you'd know it's blazing fast. The tablet costs so much since it uses a top-of-the-line SD 8 Gen 2. Samsung's "bloat" is the hook for many people, and if you don't like it you can just ignore it... It's the Good Lock modules that actually add overhead.

I had to send Samsung my Tab S8+. And I have multiple charges and multiple cables so I know I am good. And I have cables that tell me how many Watts are charging, that is how I found out I had a problem... would not charge pass 10W.
I agree with your point about getting a S9. Complete agreement.
But we completely disagree about the term bloatware... to me, it is ALL BAD. And Sammy's is some of the worst out there IMHO. There is too much shit trying to sway you to Samsung. I also am not a fan of DEX. Truly, the best OS have been the Chinese Tablets that keep it as stock as possible and I love that, especially for a low end tablet that I feel you need every horsepower you can get.
I personally don't find the Tab S9 blazing fast. Just realize that the newer tablets that have the SD Elite CPU run 57% on average faster. And I have the S9 with the extra RAM and 256GB hard drive.

But the tablet that I really want sells for $800 and came out today. The Redimagic Pro 3 ... 9" OLED with SD Elite, 24GB and 1TB.
