Once you try a folding phone it's hard to go back. Here's the thing. They won't help with productivity. If you love consuming media, consumerism, doom scrolling... Folding phones are amazing. If you're trying to cut back on the www this won't help. It's essentially a hand tablet.
This is 8pro not folding one.

Folding screen will have creases. That's the nature of the beast.

I picked one up. It took a week to ship, so curb your expectations if you were expecting it any sooner. The device itself was pretty blemish free and works fine. No complaints so far.

I received mine a few months ago for same price, grade A. Absolutely wonderful phone, I use this as my travel phone. Battery is great, and also pictures. I like the size better than my S24u. I may sell the S24. The only thing I will say is the display is not as nice as the Samsung nor as powerful, but absent the bloat I appreciate it. If I did not have the Samsung I would prob not know the display is inferior, and not hopelessly so but it is evident.

I just got the 8 Pro deal from Google. Comes with the brand new 8 pro, pixel watch 2 LTE and case for $599. The phone is absolutely fantastic and so much better than my S23 Ultra

I've tried one. It's uncomfy at all. Just take a tablet, I mean a real tablet which is way better. All foldables are bulky, heavy and when it's unfolded you have the same size screen if you are watching any video cuz the screen is a square so you'll get huge black frames on top and bottom of your video.

This is my phone... in a poetic case. Left it on my car roof, lost it and used "find my device" and it stated which cross street it was at. The phone was run over once, and my screen protector was all cracked. Phone was in good condition but I needed a new case.
The brightness is not like the new ones but still pretty damn bright (good enough). Phone build is very good. Camera is very good. I can not say much bad about my phone. Obviously, updates are very good.
I personally would want a Pixel as my phone then any other brand. I find Sammy has too much bloat. And Oneplus is GOOD but I am talking about their newest models, the ones that are a few years old don't have such a good camera... hence why I purchased the Pixel 8 Pro and no regrets.
What is really GREAT is that I have learned how to switch from Mint Mobile to Visible back to Mint Mobile back to Visible and when you switch there is usually a really good phone deal. This to me is the BEST cell phone advice I could give anyone.

Wish they have the 256gb version for a little more. I like to keep my phone for 3 to 5 years and 128gb is not nearly enough space.

How was it? Does this phone heat up easily?
