I checked out Costco's version of the same brand but with more than doubling the price. That version has very thick wooden posts and aluminum roof. But as I understand, this one is all steel construction. So the paint quality is critical.

Ya, my neighbors got a similar one, and he just left the roof as is (primer no paint). It's been a few years now, but the roof is peeling all over the place and rusting beneath. Doubt the guy even knows about it since I'm able to see it from my deck. If I was spending all my money on one of these things, that roof is getting painted.
