I paid 7.19 for this randomly on amazon exactly one month ago, so this deal is 10 cents less. I only needed one but 3 will come in useful someday. For what its worth I haven't tried 10Gbps through one, but I used one to convert a 2.5Gbps sabrent usb-c ethernet adapter thats on here a lot to the usb 3 port on a really old computer and got the full 2.5Gbps speed on local lan iperf3 speedtests.
Oh wow it supports 10 gigabits per second on one side... so if you put it in upside down it might not work right.
imagine if the cable did the same thing, and now you need to sit there and twist one over and then try it and then twist the other over and try it and then try to figure out the other end and try it... you know they really should have standards for these things so stuff like that doesn't happen.
