I'm sort of confused for the need of this as a product- box springs were just that, a box with springs in it that added some structural support to the mattress and the springs gave some conforming aspect to the areas people would lay on, but this is just a metal bed frame covered to look like box springs. Is it for people who want to have a newer style memory foam mattress but look like they still have a normal mattress and bed springs with the older style low frame rail setup? Or is the market the folks who just have a memory foam mattress on the floor and want it the height of their old mattress with box springs?

Could be for people who want their best higher up off the ground. I love purple mattresses, which don't need a box spring, but having a bed that is higher is preference for some sleepers, and this is a very cost effective option.
